CORA HIRASHIKI

As a third generation Japanese American who grew up pouring over the pages of National Geographic and listening to her grandmother's stories about days in an Arkansas internment camp, Cora has made it her mission to drive change, build empowered communities, and protect our environment. She loves creating media that gives a voice to those who have difficulty sharing their stories with the world and spotlighting innovations that shape and support a sustainable future.

After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, she started her career in marketing and publishing by working with SEO agency Highly Relevant, Network Media, and Pasadena Magazine. As visual storytelling has always been a passion of hers, she transitioned into entertainment and media and has since worked the Golden Globes and the American Music Awards. She's also written and produced several short films, including The Three Seasons, Conception, and The Valley of St. Thomas.

Before teaming up with Amy and Snejana to create Sisu Creative, she worked in development with Dick Clark Productions, supported the careers of writers, directors, and actors with Saw producer Stacey Testro,  provided marketing services for Green Living Project, and produced social media and video content for Larry Ellison's branding agency and production company, Infidea.
