SNEJANA DAILY

Snejana is a first generation Bulgarian-American who is passionate about people and their stories. She has traveled to 30 countries and explored more than half of the US. In addition to immersing herself in the culture of a region, she travels to the far corners of the world to aid underserved communities and ensure that they are given a voice.

On a traditional path to making a difference in the world, she began her career in the nonprofit sector and eventually used her experience to enter the world of public policy; however, it wasn’t until she discovered the power of socially conscious media that she truly found her true calling.

The “aha!” moment and resulting career 180 took place after spending several months traveling to some of the most impoverished regions of the world with Operation Change - the Oprah Winfrey Network’s documentary series on international philanthropy. Since then, she has been working as a producer on television series and documentaries for MTV International, Nickelodeon, ABC Freeform, Vice Media, Pulse Creative, and Optimist Inc. She has also produced music videos, spec ads, and digital content for companies like Bose, Kellogg’s, Marvel, Chevy, and Larry Ellison's branding agency, Infidea.

She has carved out a unique place for herself in the confluence between media, policy, and philanthropy. She utilizes the collaboration between journalism, production, and social media to raise awareness and drive change by telling stories from around the world.

Snejana received her Masters of Public Policy with an emphasis on nonprofit management from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. She also holds a BA in Psychology from USC.
